I have put together a quick tip for using textures (or any brush, really) in Procreate. If you haven't read the Procreate Handbook or Guide you can find that on the Procreate Support page here . I recommend reading it, as it explains each function of the app. I will be using the Texture #3 brush for this example. Changing the grain source (tap once with two fingers on the grain source image) will invert the black and white, changing the look of the brush entirely. See below. The photos below will show the difference inverting the grain source can do. This makes a huge difference in the texture and of course there are many ways of manipulating the stroke, shape, grain, etc to get other new and exciting textures. Just remember to duplicate your brush before making any changes so you don't lose your original!
